*Crime and Disorder Act 1998 section 17a (as amended by the Police and Justice Act 2006 and the Policing and Crime Act 2009.

*Crime and Disorder Act 1998 section 115 (as amended by the Police and Justice Act 2006) provides the legal power for the discolosure of personal data to a relevant authority to support the implementation of the provision of the Act, in particular related to the reduction of crime and the apprehension/prosectution of offenders.
