Civil Enforcement Officer

Do you care about keeping Wyre Forest safe, clean and well looked after? We’re looking for a Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team. You’ll patrol our streets and car parks, help tackle illegal parking, littering and fly-tipping, and support public safety across the district. You’ll work closely with the community, speak with local residents and businesses, and be part of campaigns to raise awareness of local rules and services.

This is a hands-on role that involves being out and about in all weathers. Shifts include weekends, evenings and bank holidays, and full training is provided.

Salary: £28,041 to £29,742 per annum

Waste Operative Level 2 - Loader

Do you enjoy working outside? Are you committed to maintaining a clean and tidy environment? We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support the safe and efficient collection of waste materials, including domestic, commercial, recycling, and garden waste. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality waste collection services across the district.

Housing Advice Officer

We're looking for someone committed to providing good customer service, with a passion for preventing homelessness and able to support the council in reducing costs of temporary accommodation.

The role will involve working directly with members of the public who are homeless and threatened with homelessness as well any other customers requiring housing advice. 

Contact type:18.5 hours a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

Location: Kidderminster

Salary: £33,854 to £36,638 per annum

Disabled Facilities Grants Project Officer

We're looking for someone to provide services to meet the requirements of the Council’s Housing Strategy and Private Sector Housing policies in order to improve well being of residents and protection of the environment. In particular to develop and implement the Council’s strategic and operational activities associated with Disabled Facilities Grants, assessing and delivering appropriate adaptations to resident's homes.

Homeless Support Officer

We are looking for experienced communicator to support people who are homeless and living in our temporary accommodation, as well as those we are working with to prevent homelessness.

You will be developing pathway plans for customers into accommodation and support, alongside providing appropriate tenancy training to ensure they can maintain their tenancy in the longer term and developing positive relationships and pathways with organisations to ensure early reporting, intervention and support is available for households. 

Contact type: 25 hour per week (which may include some weekend working), 1-year fixed term contract

Salary: £30,238 - £32,769 pro-rata
