Senior Accountant / Finance Business Partner
We're looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Finance team. You will provide financial support and advice to heads of service, budget holders, elected members, and other stakeholders across our services.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide specialist financial advice to the Council’s services. You will ensure effective resource management, accountability, control, and compliance with statutory obligations and corporate standards.
You will be involved with the preparation of budgets, attendance at Project Boards, provision of financial monitoring during the year and the preparation of financial year-end accounts along with completion of grant claims and bids.
You must be a full member of a professional accountancy body (CIPFA or CCAB equivalent) for this role.
