Housing advice for specific groups of people
Under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 we are tasked with providing specific advice to certain individuals at risk of homelessness, including those at risk of domestic violence, ex armed forces, care leavers, prison leavers and those with a mental illness or impairment. To help these groups we have developed some specific pathways detailing the help available.
- Housing advice for young people (16-17 year olds)
- Housing advice for members of the armed forces
- Housing advice for people leaving care
- Housing advice for people experiencing domestic abuse
- Housing advice for people in or about to be discharged from hospital
- Housing advice for people with a learning disability
- Housing advice for people with a mental illness or impairment
- Housing advice for people with a physical disability and older people
- Housing advice for prison leavers
- Housing advice for rough sleepers
- Housing advice for people dealing with substance misuse
