Community Governance Review Stourport-on-Severn
Wyre Forest District Council undertook a Community Governance Review (CGR) of Stourport-on-Severn, under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007. It followed a request for the review from Stourport Town Council as it perceived there to be anomalies in the distribution of seats to the wards that made up the Town Council.
A Community Governance Review can examine various issues relating to the governance of an area, and which are wider than electoral arrangements.
The terms of reference give background information to the review, the timetable and some possible alternative arrangements for the distribution of seats.
