New claims for Housing Benefit
Evidence document checklist
You will need to provide the following information when you make a claim.
If you are coming into the office to make a claim with an advisor please make sure you bring originals not copies (we will scan them in with your claim so you don't have to leave your originals behind).
If you do not have all of the information don't wait until you have it before putting your claim in, we can start the claim with only some of it but we won't be able to pay you any benefit until we have all the proof we need.
