Asylum Seekers - Employment and volunteering
Asylum seekers are generally not permitted to work in the UK while your claim is processed. However, you can freely volunteer at any stage, and may apply for permission to work in shortage occupations if you are waiting more than 12 months for an initial decision.

Refugee Action: Offers the "Pathways to Work" scheme. It provides remote employability group programs and 1-to-1 mentoring for migrants in England with an English level of Entry 3 or higher.
