Tree planting

The Parks and Open Spaces section have a small budget for tree replacement. On average, we plant around 45 standard trees per year, in addition to whip planting, within the district, to replace trees removed or creating new areas of woodland and hedges within the parks and open spaces.

We are committed to planting trees within our parks and open spaces, so if you have an idea for a good location for a new tree or would like to have a memorial tree planted please contact us.
