Advice for food businesses

If you are a food business and are flooded there is specific help and advice available from Worcestershire Regulatory Services.

Survey

If you have been affected by flooding please let us North Worcestershire Water Management know by completing this brief survey to help them and partner agencies to help you.

Cleansing of public spaces

Cleansing of public spaces (streets, footpaths etc) will be done as soon as reasonably practicable after flooding has receded and as soon as ground conditions allow.

Contact operationalservices@wyreforestdc.gov.uk or call 01562 732528.

Reusing and disposing of sandbags

Dry out sandbags and store them in a shed, garage or under cover so you can use them again. If you cannot store them, open them up and spread the sand on your garden if you have one. You can then treat the sacks as normal waste. If the sand or bags are contaminated, please dispose of them at your local Household Recycling Centre (tip).

Homeless

If you have been made homeless by the floods and can’t make your own arrangements, please contact HousingAdviceTeam@wyreforestdc.gov.uk or 01562 732928 (9am - 5pm Monday - Friday).
