Household support fund

logo funded by UK government The Household Support Fund (HSF) was made available to councils by the Department of Work and Pensions to support households in the most need. The funding ended Tuesday, 31 March 2026. You can find more information on the Household Support Fund on Worcestershire County Council's website.

It has been replaced by the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF). This is not a like‑for‑like replacement: while the Household Support Fund focused on cost-of-living support, the CRF is aimed at financial crisis support and strengthening long‑term financial resilience.
