How has your role developed at WFDC?

I started my employment as a loader then moved onto become a driver before becoming a waste transfer officer. My current role is Site Monitoring Officer. I recently took up a secondment post and was fully supported and encouraged to do so.

What has kept you working here for so long?

It’s a good team of people, lots of people stay here a long time

How far do you live from HQ?

Approx 5-10 minute commute

Would you recommend WFDC to a friend and why?

Yes I would, it is a good place to work with a nice group of staff

What is your working pattern?

Full time, flexible no weekend work

Tell us about your average day?

My day is very varied depending on the need of the business, I can be driving lorries, JCB's, Project work, Clearing debris from the road, whatever is needed. I really enjoy the project work I carry out.
