Present:

Councillors Mrs Pauline Hill (Chairman), Mr Derek Killingworth, Mrs Hilary Baxter, Mrs Jane Lacy, Mr Alan Wakeman, Mr Doug Hine.

In attendance:

Mr S Clee (Clerk), Bill Waldron Lengthsman, District Councillor Robin Drew and PC Jamie Guest.

Apologies:

Councillor John Aston, District Councillor Marcus Hart.

418 Confirmation of the last parish meeting minutes:

The minutes of the last meeting held on 9 May 2023 as previously circulated were approved and signed by the Chairman.

419 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts and Hospitality.

1. None declared.
2. There were none.

420 Planning matters:

The council noted the current list of planning applications approved and pending by Wyre Forest District Council and recommended approval to Planning Application No 23/0398/HOU at The Lawsons Back Lane. Also recommending approval to Planning Application No 23/0453/TPO at 49 Kittiwake Drive for tree crowning and finally recommending approval for Planning Application No 23/0442/TPO at Stone Manor Hotel for arboricultural works.

421 Correspondence and progress reports:

There were no items to consider which had not been previously reported via our email exchange.

422 County and district reports:

Council noted the written reports from County Councillor Hart which had been emailed prior to the meeting.

423 Wyre Forest District Council election returns

Most councillors had completed their individual election returns.

423 Railway corner, Stanklyn Lane

Council noted the correspondence from Wyre Forest District Council enforcement regarding the railway corner site. District Councillor Robin Drew agreed to look into the matter on behalf of the parish council.

424 Finances:

1. It was noted the bank balance currently stands at £18,296.88 (Current Account) and £15,039.09 (Reserve Account).
2. The council noted the current income and expenditure spreadsheets circulated with the agenda.
3. Accounts amounting to £2,279.48 made retrospectively were approved.

425 Date of the next meeting:

There being no other business the meeting ended at 7.40pm. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 11 September 2023 at Stone Parish Rooms.
