Councillors: Mrs Pauline Hill (Chairman), Mr Derek Killingworth, Mrs Hilary Baxter, Mr John Aston, Mr Alan Wakeman, and Mr Doug Hine

In attendance:

Mr S Clee (Clerk), Bill Waldron; Lengthsman, PC Ryan Bridgewood and WPC Kate Easthorpe.

410 Appointment of Chairman and confirmation of the last parish meeting minutes:

Councillor Mrs Pauline Hill was elected Chairman and made the declaration of acceptance of office. Councillor Derek Killingworth was elected Vice Chairman. The minutes of the last meeting held on 14 March 2023 as previously circulated were approved and signed by the Chairman.

411 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts and Hospitality.

1. None declared.
2. There were none.

412 Planning matters:

The Council noted the current list of planning applications approved and pending by Wyre Forest District Council and recommended approval to planning application No 23/0228/FUL at the Hare and Hounds in Shenstone.

413 Correspondence and progress reports:

There were no items to consider which had not been previously reported via our email exchange.

414 County and district reports:

Council noted the written reports from County Councillor Hart which had been emailed prior to the meeting.

415 Appointments of representatives to outside bodies

Council appointed Councillor Mrs Hilary Baxter to St Mary’s PCC, Councillor Jane Lacy as the Council's West Mercia contact and the Chairman or Vice Chairman to CALC.

416 Finances:

1. It was noted the bank balance currently stands at £20,058.85 (Current Account) and £15,020.98 (Reserve Account).
2. The Council noted the current income and expenditure spreadsheets circulated with the agenda to date.
3. Accounts amounting to £677.79 made retrospectively were approved.
4. Council approved the clerk and chairman complete the annual accounts for 2022-2023 in
   accordance with Messrs P K Littlejohn requirements.

417 Date of the next meeting:

There being no other business the meeting ended at 7.45pm. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 11h July 2023 at Stone Parish Rooms.
