Love Where You Live

LOGO: Love Where You Live

Do you love where you live? Do you want to make a difference in your local community?

We are supporting a campaign by Keep Britain Tidy to empower residents to love where they live. By joining our campaign you can help us to look after and improve the area where you live, by being the eyes and ears of your community.

A packed schedule of more than 50 free events has been organised by the Wyre Forest Green Alliance to celebrate living greener, happier and healthier.

From Saturday 30 April to Sunday 15 May, you can find out how you can live more sustainably and the changes you can make to help protect the planet for future generations to enjoy.

As part of our Love Where You Live campaign, we will be running free workshops on electric vehicles in some of our car parks and an interesting talk on biodiversity.

There is a monthly community markets scheme at St Peter’s Church, Kidderminster on the last Saturday of every month.

It gives local small businesses an opportunity to sell their products and services.

The Pickup Artists are looking for new volunteers to help litter pick across the district. If you are interested, please contact them on Facebook, their website or email.

Are you part of a local litter picking group and need help?

Please get in touch with us by emailing our Health and Sustainability Officer.

Training and education are helping communities feel a sense of pride and help improve the district.

If you are unemployed, Community Housing’s Fusion team can offer you free support.

Every second and fourth Monday of the month, come along to St Peter’s Community Church, 5 Meredith Green, Kidderminster DY11 7EJ from 10.30am to 11.30am.
