Tuesday 9 July 2024, 7pm, Stone Parish Rooms
Present:
Councillors Mrs Pauline Hill Chairman, Mr Derek Killingworth, Mr Doug Hine, Mrs Hilary Baxter & Mr John Aston.
In attendance:
Mr S Clee (Clerk) & Mr Tim Hallam of Stanklyn Cottage & District Councillor Ian Hardiman.
Apologies:
Councillor’s Mr Alan Wakeman, District Councillors Marcus Hart & Robin Drew.
459 Confirmation of the last parish meeting minutes:
The minutes of the last meeting held on 14th May 2024 as previously circulated were approved and signed by the Chairman following an addition under minute 457(e).
460 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts and Hospitality.
- None declared.
- There were none.
461 Public participation
Mr Tim Hallam addressed Council regarding the continued severe flooding along Barrs Lane. He said the Highways Authority have been out to look at the matter and a previous ditch needs to be unearthed. District Councillor Ian Hardiman said he would relay the issue to County Councillor Marcus Hart.
462 Planning matters:
The Council noted the current list of Planning Applications approved and pending by WFDC.
463 County and district reports:
Written reports from Councillor’s Hart & Robin Drew previously circulated were noted. Councillor Hardiman agreed to discuss the parish Emergency Plan being picked up by the District Council and would report back.
464 Emergency plan
Councillor Killingworth raised the Emergency Plan discussion and following debate it was felt due to the size of the Parish and lack major facilities a Plan reflecting the Parish would be better picked up by Wyre Forest District Council.
465 Finances:
- It was noted the bank balance currently stands at £26,043.16 (Current Account) and £15,020.98 (Reserve Account).
- The council noted the current income and expenditure spreadsheets circulated with the agenda.
466 Date of the next meeting:
There being no other business the meeting ended at 7.50pm. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 10 September 2024 at Stone Parish Rooms.
