Present:

Councillors Mrs Pauline Hill (Chairman), Mr Derek Killingworth, Mrs Hilary Baxter, Mr John Aston, Mr Alan Wakeman, Mr Doug Hine and Mrs Jane Lacy.

391 Confirmation of the Minutes:

The minutes of the last meeting held on 13 September 2022 as previously circulated were approved and signed by the Chairman.

392 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any Changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts and Hospitality.

a) None declared. b) There were none.

393 Planning matters:

The Council noted the current list of Planning Applications approved and pending by WFDC. Council considered the Environmental Impact Assessment associated with 22/0226/EIA provided by WFDC. It was noted the 220 submitted documents provided on the WFDC Website covered intensive submissions. Council was concerned at the amount of traffic and congestion that would be generated off the Chaddesley Rd. Councillor’s Wakeman and Hine agreed they would keep the parish council updated on any future developments regarding the highway proposals from Worcestershire County Council.

Council believed every aspect covering a development of this magnitude had been submitted and RESOLVED to support this EI process. It was 24 dwellings from the proposed 1450 fell with our parish boundary and ranged from 18 private dwellings to 3 Social Housing Properties and a further 3 Shared Ownership Dwellings.

394 Correspondence and Progress Reports:

There were no items to consider which had not been previously reported via our email exchange.

395 County and district reports:

Council noted the written reports from County Cllr Hart which had been emailed prior to the meeting. Councillor Hart agreed to funding 50% namely £2,500.00 of the cost for the new Stanklyn Lane VAS Sign during this current municipal year.

396 Meeting dates for 2023-2024

Council approved the meeting dates for the 2023 municipal year as follows.

Tuesday 10^th January 7.00 pm - Parish Room, Stone

Tuesday 14^th March 7.00 pm Annual Parish Meeting Followed by Council Meeting - Parish Room, Stone

Tuesday 9^th May 7.00 pm Annual Meeting of the Parish Council - Parish Room, Stone

Tuesday 11^th July 7.00 pm - Parish Room, Stone

Tuesday 12^th September 7.00 pm - Parish Room, Stone

Tuesday 14^th November 7.00 pm - Parish Room, Stone

397 Asset Register

Council approved the revised Asset Register valued at £31,515.70.

398 Budget and Precept for 2023-2024:

Council approved a precept of £17,170.00 for the 2023-2024 Municipal Year. This included replacement notice boards, partial funding for a New Vas Sign along Worcester Road at Shenstone and a Churchyard Grant for grass cutting in St Mary’s Churchyard.

399 Finances:

1. It was noted the Bank Balance currently stands at £26,518.30 (Current Ac) and £5,005.57 (Reserve Ac).
2. Council noted the Income & Expenditure Spreadsheets circulated with the agenda.
3. Accounts amounting to £4,660.93 made retrospectively were approved.

400 Date of the next meeting:

There being no other business the meeting ended at 19.20pm. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 10^th January 2023 at Stone Parish Rooms.
