Minutes of the Annual General Meeting followed by the Stone Parish Council Meeting held in Stone Parish Rooms on Tuesday 10th September 2019 commencing at 7.30pm.
Present: Councillors Mr Richard Wignall (Chairman), Mrs Pauline Hill, Mrs Pauline Hart, Mr Derek Killingworth.
In attendance: Mr S Clee Clerk, Bill Waldron Lengthsman, WPC Becky Rushton, District Cllr Lisa Jones.
Apologies: Mr John Jordan, Mr Graham Higgs & Mrs Hilary Baxter.
204 Confirmation of the Minutes
The minutes of the last meeting held on 9th July 2019 as previously circulated were approved and signed by the Chairman.
205 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any Changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts & Hospitality;
a) None declared. b) There were none.
206 Public Speakers:
WPC Becky Rushton addressed Council relating to one reported since we last met involving a stolen vehicle in Stanklyn Lane.
207 Planning Matters:
The Council noted the current list of Planning Applications approved and pending by WFDC. Council also discussed Planning Application No WF/0488 at Little Oaks Stone Meadow and RESOLVED to recommend approval.
208 Councillors Reports
A written report had been received and circulated to all councillors from County Cllr Hart prior to the meeting. District Councillor Lisa Jones gave a verbal report relating to a range of issues being looked at by the District Council currently.
209 Correspondence & Progress Reports
Council noted The PCC had agreed to purchase 4 benches to present to the Parish Council for perpetuity. The Council would need to install them and maintain them thereafter. The Council considered a request from Mrs Susan Laffey for a contribution towards her current Parish project of researching all the soldiers involved in the 1st & 2nd World Wars and conflicts. It was RESOLVED as contribution would be made accordingly.
210 Severn Trent Works
In the absence of the Chairman and Vice Chairman this matter was deferred until November.
211 Wyre Forest District Local Plan
The Clerk reported Wyre Forest District Council had reopened the public consultation exercise for the emerging New Local Plan. It was noted the Consultation would run from 2nd of September till the 14th November. It was noted a public drop-in surgery would be held between 3pm-7pm on Wednesday 18th September 2019 and it was hoped Parish Councillors would attend.
212 Finances
a) It was noted the Bank Balance currently stands at £11, 515.45 which includes earmarked reserves and grants for specific works.
b) Accounts amounting to £1,829.34 made retrospectively were approved.
c) The Council noted the Income & Expenditure Spreadsheets circulated with the agenda for Municipal Year 2019-2020.
d) Council Noted the Annual Accounts for 2018-2019 previously submitted to Messrs PKF Littlejohn had been approved and signed off accordingly.
213 Date of the next Meeting
There being no other business the meeting ended at 20.00pm. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 12th November 2019 commencing at 7.30pm.
