The Hub is closed to visitors from 5pm Tuesday, 23 December 2025, until Monday, 5 January 2026, at 9am.
Phone lines will close from 5pm Tuesday, 23 December 2025, with a reduced service over the festive season as below:
- Commercial and domestic waste services – phone lines will be open between 10am and 4pm on:
- Wednesday 24 December
- Saturday 27 December
- Monday 29 December
- Tuesday 30 December
- Wednesday 31 December
- Friday 2 January 2026
- Phone lines for all other services will be open between 10am and 4pm on Monday, 29 December, Tuesday, 30 December, and Friday, 2 January 2026.
All phone lines will return to normal opening hours from 9am on Monday, 5 January 2026.
Our website and My Wyre Forest mobile app, and web portal are all available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Bewdley Museum closes at 4.30pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025.

Household recycling centre information

Household recycling centres in the district are managed by Worcestershire County Council. They normally close Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. If you need to visit the tip, please avoid these three days and don't fly tip by leaving items outside the gates.
