Changes to bin collections

If your rubbish bin would normally be collected on Tuesday 26 December it will be collected on Saturday 30 December 2023 instead. Our crews will take 1 bag of side waste for these customers only on Saturday 30 December. 

There are no other planned changes to collections. Please make sure your bin is out for collection by 6am. 

The Hub (customer services)

The Hub is closed from 5pm Friday 22 December 2022, and it will reopen on Tuesday 2 January 2023 at 9am.

Phone lines for commercial and domestic waste services will be open between 9am and 3.30pm Wednesday 27 December to Saturday 30 December.
Phone lines for all other services will be open between 10am and 4pm on Thursday 28 December 2022.

Our website and My Wyre Forest mobile app and web portal are all available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Phone lines will be closed from 5pm Friday 22 December. Lines will be open again Thursday 28 December and Friday 29 December 2023, 9am until 5pm.

Bewdley Museum

Bewdley Museum closes at 4.30pm on Saturday 23 December

The shop and Shambles walkway reopens on Saturday 3 February 2024. The museum fully reopens on Saturday 2 March 2024.

Household recycling centre information

Household recycling centres in the district, managed by Worcestershire County Council, will be closed for three days: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. If you need to visit the tip, please avoid these three days and don't fly tip by leaving items outside the gates.
