Minutes of the Rock Parish Council Meeting held via Microsoft Team due to the Corona-virus crisis and the fact that everybody should be self-isolating on Monday 27th July 2020 commencing at 7.00pm.

Present:

Councillors Richard Williams (Chairman); David Nott; Andrew Croot; Christopher Price; Sue Morris (Part); Colin Thornton; Sandra Woodhouse; Jim Lawson; Sally Watkins; Christine Sankey; Douglas Godwin

In attendance:

Mr S Clee Clerk, Mr Chris Carter and Mr Dominic Connolly.

Apologies:

Councillors Pat Pain, Nick Stone, County Cllr Rebecca Vale and District Councillors Anna and Roger Coleman

2021 Confirmation of the Minutes:

The minutes of the last meeting held on 29th June 2020 as previously circulated, were approved, and it was agreed they could be signed by the Chairman.

2022 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any Changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts & Hospitality.

A) There were none. B) There were none.

2023 Public Participation:

No member of the public had contacted any Councillors present or the Clerk to raise any matter on the agenda tonight.

2024 Planning Matters:

007 20/0458/FULL: Demolition of existing agricultural buildings and erection of 4 Detached Dwellings at Old Hall Barns, Tenbury Road, Clows Top.

It was RESOLVED to recommend refusal for this application because council believes it to be very overdeveloped for such a small site together with great concern the Highway access off the Tenbury Road.

008 19/0775/OUT/REV: 2 No Dwellings at Land at Callow Hill, Rock, DY14 9XG

It was RESOLVED to support this amended design as it was more in keeping with the street scene.

009 20/0550/FUL: Proposed agricultural building at Netherton Lane, Dunley

It was RESOLVED to support this application.

2025 County & District Councillor’s Report:

It was noted County Councillor Rebecca Vale had sent a County Report. In the absence of our District Councillors there were no reports.

Councillor Ms Sue Morris joined the meeting at 7.35pm.

2026 Parish Magazine:

Councillor Ms Sally Watkins is writing tonight’s report for the Parish Magazine and Councillor Nick Stones will write the September report. The Chairman thanked the Clerk for continuing with the weekly briefing notes.

2027 Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Authority:

Council considered the Community Risk Management Plan for 2021-2025. It was RESOLVED to support the plan.

2028 Finances:

a) Accounts amounting to £1,631.92 as detailed on the expenditure spreadsheet circulated to all councillors prior to the meeting were approved for payment.

2029 Date of the next Meeting

There being no other business the meeting ended at 19.59pm. The next meeting will be held on Monday 28th September 2020 via Microsoft Team Webcast.
