Executive Support Officer

Do you have excellent organisational and forward planning skills? Are you able to complete work to a high standard of accuracy and presentation? Do you have experience of planning and preparing  meetings, experience in taking notes / minutes of meetings? Can you communicate effectively at all levels?

Our Executive Support Officers provide confidential, high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Corporate Leadership Team, Council Leader, Cabinet Members, and Chairman, enabling them to work efficiently and effectively.

Duties include handling enquiries from staff, councillors, the public, and external organisations with professionalism, and managing requests for information via email, phone, and face-to-face contact.

Salary: £28,938 - £30,414 per annum pro-rata

Democratic Services Officer

As a Democratic Services Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting the democratic process, working closely with councillors, committees and the Corporate Leadership Team. Your work will keep local democracy running smoothly — from preparing agendas and producing accurate meeting minutes to making sure council business is properly managed and accessible. The role will include attendance at some evening meetings. 

We're looking for someone who's highly organised, has a sharp eye for detail and communicates well — both in writing and in person. Experience in committee administration and minute-taking will stand you in good stead. 

Contract type: Part time (29 hours per week), permanent

Location: Wyre Forest House, Kidderminster

Salary:  £28,938 - £30,414 pro rata

Waste Operative Loader

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support the safe and efficient collection of waste materials, including domestic, commercial, recycling, and garden waste. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality waste collection services across the district.

Contact type: This is a full time, permanent role.

Location: Green Street depot Kidderminster and out in the local community

Salary: £26,769 - £28,350 per annum

Waste Operative Driver/Loader

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support the safe and efficient collection of waste in the district. 

You must have a class 2 licence and full CPC. The role requires you to drive up to 26T refuse collection vehicle, navigating the local area. You will also be required to undertake loading duties walking around 14 miles a day.
