We’re looking for a dynamic and forward‑thinking Fleet Operations Manager who’s ready to take ownership of a high‑profile service and drive real improvement across the Council.
In this role you will:
- Lead the strategic and day‑to‑day management of the Council’s corporate fleet.
- Ensure all vehicles, drivers, and processes meet safety, efficiency, and O‑Licence requirements.
- Act as the Council’s expert on fleet operations and O‑Licence compliance.
- Take decisive action to protect the operator’s licence and oversee related investigations.
- Maintain systems and records to meet all regulatory expectations.

Housing Advice Assistant
We are looking for a Housing Advice Assistant to join our team as the first point of contact for households with housing needs.
This role will involve referring clients requiring more in-depth housing assistance to Housing Officers, assessing whether a household requires temporary accommodation and, if so, facilitating placement and sign-up arrangements.
You will also manage the Wyre Forest Home Choice social housing register, including registering applicants, assessing applications for reasonable preference, and administering the scheme.

This new post will play a crucial role in implementing the Pride In Place project in Kidderminster through working with residents, communities and partners taking an asset based community development approach and empowering communities to achieve.

In this role you'll be supporting people who are homeless and living in our temporary accommodation, as well as those we are working with to prevent homelessness.
This includes creating pathway plans into accommodation and support, providing tenancy training for long-term stability, and building partnerships to enable early reporting, intervention, and support for households.
