Health and Safety Advisor

We're seeking an experienced health and safety professional to serve as our competent person and lead our safety culture initiatives.

In this varied role, you'll deliver our Health and Safety Management System, provide expert advice to services, lead on inspections and audits, investigate incidents, and develop policies and training. You'll work collaboratively across the organisation, balancing safety with practical service delivery.

You'll need at least three years' H&S advisory experience, strong knowledge of current legislation, and excellent communication skills to engage and influence at all levels.

Contract type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £38,760 to £41,343 per annum

Civil Enforcement Officer

Do you care about keeping Wyre Forest safe, clean and well looked after? We’re looking for a Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team. You’ll patrol our streets and car parks, help tackle illegal parking, littering and fly-tipping, and support public safety across the district. You’ll work closely with the community, speak with local residents and businesses, and be part of campaigns to raise awareness of local rules and services.

This is a hands-on role that involves being out and about in all weathers. Shifts include weekends, evenings and bank holidays, and full training is provided.

Street Cleansing Operative

We're seeking a reliable Street Cleansing Operative to maintain public spaces across our community. You'll carry out manual street cleansing, including sweeping, litter picking, emptying bins, and helping remove fly-tipped waste.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work outdoors in all weathers, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. Experience is beneficial but not essential - we welcome applications from those with a positive attitude and commitment to keeping our streets clean and safe.
