2499 Wyre Forest District Council – Call for Sites:
A discussion took place around the Wyre Forest District Councils need to find additional building sites within the District to accommodate the Governments’ new demands on building thousands of additional houses which have not be accounted for in the WFDC recently Approved Local Plan. The Council agreed to propose the “Alton Glasshouses” redundant land adjoining the Wyre Forest Visitors Centre along the A456 and representations would be made to the Forward Planning Officer at Wyre Forest accordingly.
2500 West Mercia Police Consultation Survey:
The Chairman introduced the West Mercia Consultation Survey and the questions were answered and submitted in real time on line following a discussion.
2501 Former garage site Clows Top:
The PC had received a pre planning application request from the Planning Consultants for our initial thoughts on the proposed development on the "Tramontana Garage Site" at Clows Top.
Following a discussion the PC gave general support that they would be supportive of a housing scheme going on the site and wanted to point out to the Consultants that they would need to know that there is no mains water discharge, and most properties have septic tanks. There is also a poor electricity supply from the energy company and being so high within the Parish there is a regular Power disruption when we have bad weather or high winds. The play area proposed within the site was discussed, and the PC think it’s a great asset for the adjoining Hall to maintain and look after it in Perpetuity.
2502 Finances:
- The council approved payments totalling £12,484.07 for payment tonight.
- The council noted the current Receipt and Payment sheets for 2025-2026.
