2383 Confirmation of the minutes:

The minutes of the last meeting held on 20 May 2024, as previously circulated, were approved and signed by the Chairman.

2384 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts and Hospitality.

This were none.

2385 Public participation:

This was none.

2386 Planning applications:

018 24/0292/FUL Change of use of vacant agricultural buildings to private equestrian competition training facilities comprising looseboxes, tack room and storage areas, and formation of outdoor riding arena at Barns Hill Farm, Porchbrook Road, Rock Cross.

It was RESOLVED to recommend APPROVAL.

019 24/0312/FUL Two storey and single storey extensions to Dwellinghouse at Yew Tree Farm, Pound Bank, Rock.

It was RESOLVED to recommend APPROVAL with a condition that the materials used be Stone Work in keeping with the existing building materials and providing the planning officer is happy with the overall size of the extensions.

020 24/0312/FUL Change of use of land to domestic garden and retention of annex at Elm Bank Farm Heightington Road, High Oak, Heightington.

It was RESOLVED to recommend REFUSAL because the Metal Containers were given temporary approval during covid but have been converted to permanent accommodation without permission.

021 24/0380/OUT Outline application for the erection of a custom build bungalow with associated vehicular access (all other matters reserved) at Rozelle, Tenbury Road, Rock.

It was RESOLVED to recommend REFUSAL for this application as there is no local need for this dwelling. Rozelle is outside the settlement boundary; the land was never offered for development during the recent call for sites process and
just over development off a very busy section of the A456.

2387 Correspondence:

All correspondence had been circulated to members via email prior to the meeting. Councillor Sue Morris will be writing tonight’s report for the Rock and District News and Councillor Emily Bourne in July.

2381 Finances:

1. The Council approved invoices amounting to £1,523.77 for payment tonight.
2. The council noted the Income & Expenditure Sheets to date.
3. Council approved the Annual Governance Statement for 2023-2024 and Authorised the Chairman and Clerk to sign them accordingly.
4. The Council further Approved the Accounting Statements for 2023-2024 and Authorized the Chairman and Clerk to sign them accordingly.
5. Council approved the Clerk and Chairman complete the Annual Accounts for 2023-2024 In accordance with Messrs. P K Littlejohn requirements.

2389 Date of the next meeting:

There being no other business the meeting ended at 8.05pm. The next meeting will be held on Monday 29 July 2024.
