2273 Election of Chairman:

Councillor Richard Williams was elected Chairman and duly signed the oath of office. Ms Sandra Woodhouse was elected vice Chairman.

2374 Confirmation of the minutes:

The minutes of the last meeting held on 29th April 2024, as previously circulated, were approved and signed by the Chairman.

2375 Declaration of Interest for a) The Meeting and b) Any changes to be notified to the Registers of Interests and Gifts and Hospitality.

This were none.

2376 Public participation:

This was none.

2377 Planning applications:

015 24/0257/HOU Construction of a detached garage block with store over with a limited head room first floor (to minimise ridge height). Finish to be of an agricultural style building @Moorfield House , Heightington Road.

It was RESOLVED to recommend APPROVAL.

016 24/0271/FUL Construction of a replacement dwelling@Stables At Lucys Farm , Callow Hill, Rock.

It was RESOLVED to recommend APPROVAL.

017 24/0273/HOU Utilisation of existing outbuilding as residential annex ancillary to Fernhalls Farmhouse@ Fernhalls Farmhouse, Greenway, Rock.

It was RESOLVED to recommend APPROVAL.

2378 Meeting Dates 2024-2025:

The dates for meetings during 2024-2025 were approved.

2379 Appointment to Committees:

1. Finance Working Group (Richard Williams, Nick Stones, Sandra Woodhouse, Jim Baker, Andrew Croot.
2. Emergency Working Group (Andrew Croot, Isobel Hedges Ward, Sandra Woodhouse, Mr Nott, Jim Baker)
3. Planning & Parish Plan Working Group (Andrew Croot, Richard Williams, Jim Baker, Sandra Woodhouse, Sally Watkins & David Nott)

2380 Correspondence:

All correspondence had been circulated to members via email prior to the meeting. Councillor Emily Bourne will be writing tonight’s report for the Rock & District News.

2381 Finances:

1. The Council approved invoices amounting to £1,523.77 for payment tonight.
2. The council noted the Income & Expenditure Sheets to date.
3. Council appointed Ms Abi Bloor as our internal auditor.
4. VAT Claim for £1,699.51 was noted.
5. Council agreed to holding a Finance Meeting before the next scheduled meeting should the Annual Accounts be ready for approval.

2382 Date of the next Meeting:

There being no other business the meeting ended at 19.50pm. The next meeting will be held on Monday 24^th June 2024.
