Minutes of the Rock Parish Council Meeting held via Microsoft Team due to the Corona-virus crisis and the fact that everybody should be self-isolating on Monday 25th January 2021 commencing at 7.00pm.

2062 Confirmation of the Minutes:
The minutes of the last meeting held on 21st December 2020 as previously circulated, were approved. It was also noted Mr Jonathon Downes had been appointed as the Councils new Parish Lengthsman.

2066 Parish Magazine:
Councillor Jim Lawson agreed to write tonight’s parish council report. Councillor Andrew Croot would be scheduled to write the February report.
2067 County and District Councillors Report:
Councillor Roger Coleman gave a verbal update on Wyre Forest District Council and the sacking of the Deputy Leader and political changes that have recently occurred.
2068 Parish Tree Planting:
Councillor Sally Watkins presented a tree planting report. She was initially looking to seek an early indication from Council if there was general support to look at producing a tree planting scheme around the parish. Generally, there was support indicated by members present and she was asked to form a working group by the Chairman that she could then present her proposals to a Finance Committee Meeting in April 2021.
2069 Finances:
- Income & Expenditure spreadsheets previously circulated were approved.
- Accounts amounting to £469.93 as detailed on the expenditure spreadsheet circulated to all councillors prior to the meeting were approved for payment.
- The Council RESOLVED to give a grant of £100.00 to Mr Colin Link on his recent retirement and a further £50.00 towards the memorial collection for St Mary’s Church in Pilleth following the passing of Former Chairman Mrs Sheila Ward.

There being no other business the meeting ended at 20.45pm. The next meeting will be held on Monday 22nd February 2021 via Microsoft Team Webcast.
