Emerging local plan

Scoping consultation live until Tuesday 7 July 2026.

This is the emerging Local Plan for the district of Wyre Forest. The local plan will address all matters that must be covered by a local plan except for waste and minerals, which are the responsibility of Worcestershire County Council.

Wyre Forest District Council does not intend to produce any supplementary plans. It intends to comply with section 15F(1) of the 2004 Act by incorporating a design code within the local plan. The Council does not intend to produce a joint local plan.

This is the Local Plan Timetable for the district of Wyre Forest, which has been prepared by Wyre Forest District Council in accordance with section 15B of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

Call for sites is a key part of a Local Plan review.

Before we begin preparing the plan in detail, we are undertaking a scoping consultation.
The scoping consultation will run until 5pm on Tuesday 7 July 2026.
