From Shrewsbury in Shropshire, visitors on foot, wheels or boat can follow the beautiful River Severn southward through Worcestershire and discover somewhere new to see and visit.
Councillor Dan Morehead, Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration, Planning and the Green Agenda at Wyre Forest District Council said,
“We are very pleased to launch this website which serves as a gateway to the wonders of the Severn Valley. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a long-time resident, our goal is to inspire a sense of wonder and discovery, inviting everyone to experience all that this remarkable region has to offer.
Our intention is that in addition to visiting for a day, visitors choose this beautiful area for a staycation with friends and family as there are great places to eat, drink and stay. Activities wise, there really is something for everyone.”
