Self build for associations

By signing up, you will help us find out more about the demand for custom and self build plots in Wyre Forest district where people would like their plot to be and the type of house that they would like to build.

We shall use the information to explore ways in which it might be possible for people and plots to be brought together. Registration does not however guarantee that a suitable plot will be identified, or become available.

You a British citizen, a national of an EEA State other than the United Kingdom or a national of Switzerland

Seeking (either alone or with others) to acquire a serviced plot of land in the Wyre Forest district to build a house to occupy as that individual’s sole or main residence.

Priority will be given to applicants with a local connection. Please make sure you have checked the criteria before registering. There is a £42 charge to register.

NOTE we have 28 days to confirm that the application is eligible for entry in the register, by which time we must have made the entry on to the register and notified the applicant (where we believe the applicant is not eligible for entry in the register we must notify the applicant and give reasons).

Notification must be in writing and sent within 28 days of the date of the determination and must be sent to the lead contact or such other person as the authority considers to be acting on behalf of the association.

Removal off the register must be done within 28 days of receiving a written request for the association to be removed from the register from the lead contact or such other person as the authority considers to be acting on behalf of the association.

Wyre Forest may remove an entry from the register if the authority considers that the individual (or in the case of an association, any member of the association) is no longer eligible for entry in the register.

Wyre Forest will notify and give reasons for removal from the register within 28 days of the decision to the lead contact or such other person as the authority considers to be acting on behalf of the association.
