Council pays tribute to former district councillor

Tributes have been paid to former Wyre Forest District Council councillor, Louise Edginton, who has sadly passed away.
Louise served as a member of Wyre Forest District Council from 1976 to 2000 and 2004 to 2008, representing Bewdley wards. She also served as a member on Bewdley Town Council from 1979 to 2014, and Worcestershire County Council from 2001 to 2005.
Louise’s daughter, Calne Edginton-White is currently a serving member of Bewdley Town Council and was previously a councillor for Wyre Forest District Council.
Councillor Chris Rogers, Chairman of Wyre Forest District Council said,
“It is with great sadness that we learned of Louise’s passing. On behalf of the whole Council, I would like to express my sympathy and deepest condolences to Louise’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with them at this sad time.”
