Free online forum for North Worcestershire landlords

News release issued:

North Worcestershire landlords and letting agencies are being offered the opportunity to catch up with national and local developments impacting the local private rental sector.

Wyre Forest District Council has joined up with Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council to deliver this free online event. It is on Thursday 12 October and runs from 1pm to 3pm. The councils are working in partnership with the National Residents and Landlords Association (NRLA).

The landlord forum will be looking at the latest legislation updates for landlords and letting agents, best practice for dealing with damp issues in rental properties and sharing news of energy grant funding for tenants and residents.

Councillor Ian Hardiman, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member with responsibility for Housing, Health and Wellbeing said:

“Holding an online forum is a great way for us to share with landlords all the latest news affecting them. There are lots of topics to cover including the latest legislation. As winter is approaching the forum will include a talk on the importance of warm, dry homes and the support we have on offer.

The idea of the forum is for landlords to have their say too and there will be plenty of chances for questions. We want to find out more about any matters which are specific to the area.”

Landlord or letting agents can register for the event by visiting our Landlord Forum webpage. A recording of the event will be made available to anyone who registers but cannot attend the live forum.
