Have your say on housing needs in Rock

News release issued:

Rock parish residents are being given the chance to help make sure there are enough homes of the right type in the parish thanks to Wyre Forest District Council’s latest housing needs survey.

The survey is open now and can be completed by anyone living in the parish or anyone with a strong connection to the parish. This includes those who have moved away and may be looking to move back.

Feedback from housing needs surveys help shape future housing and planning policies for parish areas. The council carries out regular surveys in individual parishes to get a better understanding of local people’s housing needs. The latest survey is for the parish of Rock and  runs from Monday 14 August 2023 until  Monday 9 October 2023.

The survey can be completed online. Anyone wanting to talk to the housing needs team before they complete it can speak to them at drop in sessions. These are taking place around the parish over the next few weeks.

Information on all the drop in sessions as well as the link to the survey can be found at www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk/rhns

As a thank you for completing the survey, the council is giving one lucky respondent a £50 shopping voucher. Respondents need to choose to be included in the prize draw when they complete the survey.
