Showcase of services for Older People

The free Showcase of Services for Older People is back in person this year and there are more opportunities than ever to get advice.
Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest and Simply Limitless Wellbeing Centre are holding three showcases, over three weeks in three different locations! There will be advice and information on healthy living, finance, benefits and local services and opportunities available to older people.
The first showcase is taking place on Thursday 22 September at Kidderminster Medical Centre, Waterloo Street, Kidderminster. The following week, the event takes place at Bewdley Medical Centre, Dog Lane, Bewdley on Thursday 29 September. The final opportunity to find out what is available is on Thursday 6 October at Stourport Medical Centre, Dunley Road, Stourport-on-Severn. All events take place from 10am until 12 noon.
Councillor Helen Dyke, Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration, Planning and Localism said: “The showcase of services for older people is a really useful event offering a range of information and advice that could really help improve an older person’s health and wellbeing. It’s great that the event is back in person and even better that there are three opportunities to visit this year!”
