Wyre Forest District Council launches new online portal and mobile app

News release issued:

Reporting flytipping, missed bin collections and so much more has become even easier with Wyre Forest District Council’s new app and online portal.

The free My Wyre Forest mobile app and online self-service platform launches today, Friday 12 June.

Available on all major app stores for mobile users and on the council’s website at My Wyre Forest, My Wyre Forest is another way to contact the council giving people the option to report a range of issues, read the latest news and pay for a number of services quickly and easily.

Users of My Wyre Forest also have the option to create a personal account so they can receive regular updates on any enquiries they submit.

Council Leader Councillor Graham Ballinger said: “We’ve made big strides forward in recent years to improve our digital offering and I’m really excited both our My Wyre Forest mobile app and online portal are now live.

“We understand that more and more people are using smart phones to interact with us so we’ve worked really hard to create a free mobile app that is quick and easy to use. This is another way to contact the council with the app along with our online portal allowing residents to report issues, read our news and more.

“Anyone who uses the My Wyre Forest service can also create their own personal account. The benefit of doing this is that you can sign up to receive updates on your enquiry. Never before have we been able to give our residents so much information at a click of a button.

“Over the coming months we will continue to add services to the app and online portal, so make sure you join us on our journey by downloading the app from all major app stores or visiting My Wyre Forest.”
