Tariff 2 For hirings begun between midnight and 6.00am Monday to Saturday (other than Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day); for hirings begun at any time on a Sunday (other than Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day); For hirings begun between 6.00pm and midnight on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve; For hirings where the number of passengers at the commencement of the journey is 5 (five) or more (other than on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day). |

Where the hirer arranges in advance by letter, telephone or otherwise with the proprietor or driver prior to the commencing of the hire of the carriage to commence from any point between ½ mile (805 metres) and 1½ miles (2,415 metres) from any hackney carriage rank: 50p
