Council pays tribute to former district councillor

Tributes have been paid to former Wyre Forest District Council councillor, John Desmond, who has sadly passed away.
John Desmond was a member of the Conservative party and served on Wyre Forest District Council from 2015 - 2018 representing Broadwaters ward in Kidderminster.
John’s son, Nathan Desmond, currently serves on Wyre Forest District Council as cabinet member for operational services.
Councillor George Connolly, Chairman of Wyre Forest District Council said,
“On behalf of everyone at Wyre Forest District Council, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to John’s family and friends at this very sad time. Our thoughts are especially with his son, Councillor Nathan Desmond, and all those who knew and loved him.”
