Nando’s comes to Kidderminster’s Riverside

A new Nando’s restaurant will be opening its doors in Kidderminster town centre later in the year, subject to the signing of a lease with the development owner Wyre Forest District Council.
Nando’s adds to the line-up of top eateries and bars along Kidderminster’s Riverside Walk in the town centre which includes Tappeto Lounge, Wall2Wall and Coffee #1.
Known for its Portuguese flame-grilled, peri-peri style chicken and great atmosphere for casual dining, the worldwide chain now has 1,200 outlets in 30 countries.
Councillor Marcus Hart, Leader of Wyre Forest District Council, said:
"We're pleased that Nando's has chosen Kidderminster as part of their national expansion plans. Their arrival is a clear indication that nearly £40 million of government investment in our town is delivering results, attracting major brands and breathing new life into the town centre.
“Nando's is an important addition to our vision of creating a destination town centre that draws people in throughout the day and into the evening. This complements recent developments like The Piano Building opposite Riverside Walk, which offers high-quality office and food & beverage space and Kidderminster Town Hall, which has re-opened late last year after a multi-million pound transformation project into a state-of-the-art performance venue."
