Chairman to raise flag for Commonwealth Day 2025

A special flag flying event to honour this year’s Commonwealth Day is taking place at Wyre Forest District Council’s headquarters on Monday 10 March.
Members of the public are invited to attend the ceremony, taking place outside Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster. The ceremony will start with a formal welcome from Chairman of Wyre Forest District Council, Councillor John Byng, at 9.45am.
Refreshments will be available after the event in Wyre Forest House reception.
This year’s Commonwealth Day theme is ‘Together We Thrive’, celebrating the enduring spirit of the Commonwealth Family – 56 independent member countries united by shared values. The theme focusses on the importance of building strong, connected communities where members help and support each other to make real progress.
Chairman of Wyre Forest District Council, Councillor John Byng said,
