Notice of election - parliamentary election for Wyre Forest

1. An Election is to be held for the Member of Parliament for Wyre Forest.
2. Forms of nomination for the Parliamentary Election may be obtained at Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster, Worcs, DY11 7WF from the (Acting) Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the (Acting) Returning Officer, Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster, Worcs, DY11 7WF on any day from the date of this notice between the hours of 10am and 4pm but no later than 4pm on Friday, 7th June 2024.
4. The required deposit may be made by the deposit of any legal tender, by the electronic transfer of funds to an account specified by the (Acting) Returning Officer or by means of a banker’s draft.
5. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 4th July 2024.
6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster, Worcs, DY11 7WF by 5pm on Wednesday, 19th June 2024.
7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster, Worcs, DY11 7WF by 5pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024.
8. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster, Worcs, DY11 7WF by 5pm on Wednesday 26th June.
9. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way, Kidderminster, Worcs, DY11 7WF by 5pm on Thursday, 4th July 2024. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024.
