Sounds for  the Summer – Live music in the great outdoors for 2019

Summer Sunday afternoons will soon be a chance to relax and enjoy a selection of FREE live music concerts at 3 great local outdoor venues.

Our annual programme of Summer concerts are open to everyone and the beauty of the events is that you can just pop in for a while or make a whole afternoon of it & bring a picnic!  Visitors are invited to bring their own chair or blanket if they choose. 

Performances are subject to weather conditions. Acts may be subject to change.

 

 

Down by the Riverside - Stourport

30 June - Bewdley Concert Band (traditional concert band)

7 July - Rob Odell Four (covers group)

A series of FREE Sunday afternoon concerts.

All concerts are between 2.30 pm & 4.30 pm.

Bring a deckchair and picnic!

Bands in the Park - Kidderminster

14 July - Freddie Smarts Duo (all the hits of the 60s & 70s)

21 July - Elisha Green (talented local singer)

28 July - NC Big Band (traditional big band)

11 August - Big Band Magic (traditional concert band) 

18 August - The Film Orchestra (jazz and wind band)

25 August - Chloe Mogg (talented local singer)

1 September - Homegrown talent (musicians from across Wyre Forest)

A series of FREE Sunday afternoon concerts are held at Brinton Park, Kidderminster in July & August. All concerts are between 2.30 pm & 4.30 pm.

Styles of music range from brass bands to 60's cover bands.The park does not have formal seating but visitors are invited to bring their own seating.

25 August - Kim & Andrew Lowings Folf Band

At Bewdley, Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens visitors can enjoy great quality free Sunday afternoon concerts. Past concerts have included styles such as Irish, Choir, Brass and Jazz. All concerts take place between 2.00 pm & 4.00 pm.

There is no formal seating in the park but visitors are invited to bring their own chairs, visitors can also take in a visit to Bewdley Museum where admission is also FREE.
