Parish Games Quiz Night

The aim of this annual quiz is to encourage Parish Councils to engage in friendly competition.

Town and Parish Games 2019

The Town and Parish Games quiz evening took place on Thursday 14 March. Teams battled it out with 10 rounds of general knowledge including; history, geography, books, TV, and sport etc.

Reigning Champions have won again for the fourth year running, well done Churchill and Blakedown!! Churchill and Blakedown won a shield and a cheque for £50 which goes to Churchill and Blakedown Parish Council for a community initiative.

The positions are as follows:

  1. Churchill and Blakedown with 105 points
  2. Stourport with 98 points
  3. Arley with 96 points
  4. Kidderminster - 92
  5. Rock with 89 points
  6. Wolverley and Cookley with 83 points

Parish Games 2018WinnerThe Town and Parish Games quiz evening took place on Wednesday 14 March. Seven teams battled it out with 10 rounds of general knowledge including, history, geography, books, TV, sport etc.

Reigning Champions have won again for the third year running, well done Churchill and Blakedown.

The positions are as follows:

  1. Churchill and Blakedown with 95 points
  2. Stourport with 93 points
  3. Upper Arley with 92 points
  4. Wolverley and Cookley with 86 points
  5. Rock with 82 points
  6. Bewdley with 79 points
  7. Kidderminster with 75 points

The winning team keeps the trophy for a year and a cheque for £50 that goes back to Churchill and Blakedown Parish Council for a community initiative/ project.

Parish Games

Wyre Forest Parish and Town Quiz took place at Kidderminster Town Hall on Tuesday 14 March. Five teams took part. Churchill and Blakedown held on to last year's win to take the shield home for another year.

  1. Churchill and Blakedown with 98 points
  2. Arley with 93 points
  3. Wolverley and Cookley with 88 points
  4. Bewdley with 87 points
  5. Kidderminster with 82 points

The winning team receive a cheque for £50 to spend on a community project within their parish.

Sue was pleased to win for a second year and said "The money will be spent on purchasing wild flowers and bulbs to plant in the village to enhance the area."

 

 

 

Town and Parish Games 2016

Amy Picture 2 The Town and Parish Games were held on Tuesday 15 March 2016 at Kidderminster Town Hall. Seven teams battled it out with 10 rounds of general knowledge and trivia playing their joker on one of the rounds to give them double points on that round. Churchill and Blakedown were clear leaders from the beginning and went on to win by 18 clear points with Kidderminster 2 on 90.
