Young Rangers
Our Young Rangers club is currently not running, please check back soon for updates.
The Young Rangers Club is run by the Ranger Service.
The club gives local 8 to 14 year olds the opportunity to explore and experience nature and wildlife found in and around the Wyre Forest district.
The club usually meets twice a month on a Sunday. There are 20 young rangers’ places.
Young rangers events are normally held on any of the districts nature reserves.
Their activities include:
- Conservation Tasks
- Survival Skills
- Adventure Trails
- Fungal Forays
- Night Noises
- Problem Solving Activities
Trips are held normally once a term to explore nature reserves in other parts of the country. A young rangers presentation evening takes place annually. Subscriptions are paid by the members each term.
