The Young Rangers Club is run by the Ranger Service.
The club gives local eight to fourteen year olds the opportunity to explore and experience nature and wildlife found in and around the Wyre Forest district.
The club usually meets twice a month on a Sunday. There are 20 young rangers’ places.
Young rangers events are normally held on any of the districts nature reserves.
Their activities include:
- Conservation Tasks
- Survival Skills
- Adventure Trails
- Fungal Forays
- Night Noises
- Problem Solving Activities
Trips are held normally once a term to explore nature reserves in other parts of the country. A young rangers presentation evening takes place annually. Subscriptions are paid by the members each term.
