Local Advisory Poll Result

Residents of Kidderminster were asked on the 7th May 2015 to vote 'yes' or 'no' to the question “Should Kidderminster have a town council?”.

Results from the poll conducted on Thursday 7th May 2015

Yes - 18,264 (79.1%)

No -  4,668 (20.2%)

Turnout: 53.3%

Declaration of result of Local Advisory Poll

Wyre Forest District Council considered the results of the poll together with any other comments from the consultation at its meeting on 29 July 2015. It then decided to go ahead with the creation of a Town Council. We made sure that the Council’s decision is widely publicised.
