Household Recycling Centres (Tips) and Recycling Banks

Update: Worcestershire County Council has closed household recycling centres across the county

To comply with recent legislation and social distancing guidance; people must now keep waste such as DIY waste or garden waste at home, unless you are able to make alternative and legal arrangements for its collection. Leaving your home to do this yourself would contravene the legislation. Large cardboard delivery boxes or cardboard packaging can be cut into smaller pieces and placed in green recycling bins

We are encouraging you to compost garden waste at home, however if you are unable to do so, the council’s garden waste collection service is still, currently, running and information on how to sign up can be found on our garden waste collection web pages.

Household Recycling Centres (Tips) are provided in Herefordshire and Worcestershire for residents of the two counties to recycle and dispose of their household waste.
