Volunteer and Skills Fair cancelled

A Volunteer and Skills Fair due to be held at Kidderminster Town Hall on Thursday 26 March has been cancelled as a precaution due to the current Covid-19 outbreak.
The event was being organised by Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with Vestia, Kidderminster College and The Department for Work and Pensions. Today (Friday 13 March), they have announced the event has been cancelled.
Councillor Nicky Martin, Cabinet Member for Housing, Health and Wellbeing, said: “We are sorry to announce that we have taken the decision to cancel the Volunteer and Skills Fair. Previous events have been well attended by stallholders and residents, so as a precaution we have decided to make the decision now to cancel the Fair.”
