Bewdley July Parking Payback
Small independent shops and businesses in the town centre are taking part in a scheme designed to attract shoppers in to the town and boost trade in the wake of the pandemic.
What is the scheme?
From Monday 29 June to Friday 31 July, people paying to park in a council owned car park in Bewdley will be able to claim a discount of £2 if you spend at least £5 in a participating independent shop in the town, which is equivalent to the cost of two hours’ parking.
How do I claim?
If paying by cash
Ticket machines will issue two tickets. Place one in your vehicle and take the other with you. Spend £5 at a particpating shop and present your ticket to claim your discount.
Cashless payments and season tickets
We are still strongly encouraging people to pay for parking using the JustPark app and online methods in order to minimise risk of spreading COVID-19.
If you have paid using JustPark or have a valid season ticket confirm your payment for parking by showing your receipt on the screen of your mobile phone to a participating retailer.
Retailers have been offered a grant to participate in the scheme.
