Welcome to the fifth and final day celebrating and showcasing services available in Wyre Forest to support your in later years. Today we are focusing on services that can help with your financial wellbeing.
Citizens Advice Bureau
Wyre Forest Citizens Advice Bureau provides independent, confidential, impartial and free advice on a range of issues including debt and consumer issues, benefits, housing, legal matters, employment and discrimination.
During the Coronavirus pandemic face to face queries have been suspended, although advisors are still supporting people by phone and email.
Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest
Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest offers lots of services for older people to help them stay well and independent in later life.
This includes free, confidential advice to help with a range of concerns, from social care, housing, scams or financial issues.

Act on Energy
Act on Energy is an independent charity dedicated to tackling fuel poverty and improving energy efficiency. Its team of qualified energy advisers can offer free impartial advice on a range of things, from funding to improve heating systems, insulation, switching energy suppliers to general energy efficiency.

There are more older people in employment than ever before, but many people over 50 are at risk of leaving the workforce early, and not necessarily because they want to.
Staying in work and taking control of when and how you retire can give you more money in later life as well as benefit your health and wellbeing.
If you are looking for help to find work in later life, there is lots of help and advice available from the Government's new jobhelp website.
It has a special section dedicated to helping older workers, from help with re-thinking your retirement to hints on improving your CV for the 21st century job market.
