Our bin collections are currently taking place as normal.

Parking charges update
Car parking charges will apply in Wyre Forest District Council car parks from Monday 1 June.
We are sorry the machines will not be in use. This is because we are not taking cash payments to help stop the spread of Coronavirus.
From 1 June, please use the Just Park app or call the number provided on the car park's tariff board to pay for parking. You can also prebook online at www.justpark.com.
Key workers and on street parking
On duty NHS and social care staff will be able to continue to park for free if they display a pass that their employer provides for them.
Please note The Hub is currently closed for all face to face enquiries apart from emergency housing enquiries.
You can still access many services online. Telephone services continue as normal, please bear with us if there is a delay answering your call.
Wyre Forest House is closed to the public from Monday 23 March.
The public cafe also closed on Tuesday 24 March.
Bewdley Museum will be closed to the public with effect from Thursday 19 March 2020 in light of the latest Government guidance and advice.
The Garden Kitchen and craft studios are also closed.

Wyre Forest and Bewdley Leisure Centres
Our leisure operator Places Leisure took the decision to close Wyre Forest Leisure Centre on Friday 20 March in line with the latest Government guidance to help stop the spread of the virus.
Following the latest Government guidance regarding the coronavirus we’ve made the decision to cancel or postpone all our events for the forseeable future.
The museum is closed to all public.
Tremendous Trows and Wonderful Wherries (28 March) - postponed
Inventive Industry and Creative Crafts (11 April) - postponed
May half tern children's craft activities (25 - 31 May 2020) - cancelled
Mr Stink (7 June) – postponed to 6 September. All tickets already purchased remain valid.
Painting the world (almost) (6 June to 12 July) - cancelled
Cherry Fair and 1940's (25 and 26 July 2020) - cancelled
Summer Holiday children's craft activities (20 July - 28 August 2020) - under review
Boogaloo Babes (22 August 2020) - cancelled
Rock & Roll Festival and Classic Car Rally at Stourport Riverside (31 May) – cancelled
Flag Flying (22 June) – cancelled
Country and Western & Line Dancing Festival (1-2 August 2020) - cancelled

Play areas closed, parks remain open
In response to Government guidelines on tackling the spread of Coronavirus, our play areas are now closed (Tuesday 24 March).
Our parks remain open but please remember you should stay at least two metres away from other people. All public gatherings of more than two people, who are not from the same household, have also been stopped.
Please help us the keep the district a safe, clean and green environment by taking your litter home.
Our public toilets at Stourport Riverside, Kidderminster Broadwaters and Brinton Park are closed due to the coronavirus.
Kidderminster Town Council has also closed Market Street toilets.
We’ve had to cancel all MOT and taxi licensing appointments. We apologise to anyone this has affected and we look forward to welcoming you back to our garage soon.

Appointments from Tuesday 24 March will be telephone appointments only.
Upcoming energy advice surgeries have been cancelled, however Act on Energy continue to operate as normal during this time and their freephone energy advice line remains open.
Wyre Forest Cemetery and Crematorium
For the most up-to-date information regarding Wyre Forest Crematorium; managed by Dignity, and how services maybe affected during the Coronavirus pandemic please visit their website for further guidance.
However they have informed us of the following advice and guidance they are adhering to:
- the crematorium is restricting attendance to a maximum of 10 people.
- Officiants have been told not to shake hands with any members of the congregation.
Kidderminster cemetery is currently open as normal. Please observe social distancing at all times.
