Volunteering

What to volunteer with us? We have volunteering opportunities at our various nature reserves and parks.

Volunteering in the community

There are lots of ways to get involved in volunteering across the district, for example, by helping out at sports clubs, befriending, driving, helping out at food banks, conservation work, and litter picking, to name just a few. As well as helping others, volunteering has been shown to improve volunteers' wellbeing too. It’s human nature to feel good after helping someone out. Beyond the feel-good factor, volunteering can boost confidence and help people gain valuable new skills and experiences.

The Love Worcestershire volunteering portal has been created to make getting involved in volunteering easier. It’s free to use; local organisations can register to share their opportunities, and volunteers can quickly sign up to find roles that match their interests.
