The Wyre Forest district is a beautiful area that comprises three main towns; Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley alongside a number of picturesque villages.

The rolling countryside covers an area of over 195km2  and includes one of the largest remaining ancient woodlands in Britain, the Wyre Forest

We have some amazing attractions in the area, and plenty to keep you entertained, from Kidderminster Arts Festival and Bewdley Regatta through to a Wassail or Country and Western Festival -  you'll always find something new to see!

Guide to Bewdley

Once described as “the most perfect small Georgian town in Worcestershire”, situated on the banks of the River Severn and on the edge of the Forest of Wyre, one of the largest ancient lowland coppice oak woodlands in England


Guide to Kidderminster

The largest of the three towns in the District, made famous for its quality woven carpets and as the birthplace of Sir Rowland Hill, founder of the Penny Post.

Stourport -on-Severn is a lively Georgian town, set on the banks of the River Severn, that was developed with the building of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal in 1771.
