Parish Games 2018WinnerThe Town and Parish Games quiz evening took place on Wednesday 14th March. Seven teams battled it out with 10 rounds of general knowledge including, history, geography, books, TV, sport etc.

Reigning Champions have won again for the third year running, well done Churchill and Blakedown.

The positions are as follows:
1st Churchill and Blakedown on 95 points,
2nd Stourport on 93,
3rd Upper Arley 92,
4th Wolverley and Cookley 86,...
5th Rock 82,
6th Bewdley79,
7th Kidderminster 75.

The winning team keeps the trophy for a year and a cheque for £50 that goes back to Churchill and Blakedown Parish Council for a community initiative/ project.

Parish GamesThe aim of this annual quiz is to encourage Parish Councils to engage in friendly competition. 

Wyre Forest Parish and Town Quiz took place at Kidderminster Town Hall. Five teams took part. Churchill and Blakedown held on to last year's win to take the winning shield for 2017 with 98 points, 2nd Arley on 93, 3rd Wolverley and Cookley on 88, 4th Bewdley on 87 and 5th Kidderminster on 82 points. The winning team receive a cheque for £50 to spend on a community project within their parish.

The picture is Amy Smith (right), Leisure Development Officer presenting the winning shield to Sue Fowler from Churchill and Blakedown. Sue was pleased to win for a 2nd year and said the money will be spent on purchasing wild flowers and bulbs to plant in the village to enhance the area.

2016 Town and Parish Games - Results

Amy Picture 2 The Town and Parish Games were held on Tuesday 15th March 2016 at Kidderminster Town Hall. Seven teams battled it out with 10 rounds of general knowledge and trivia playing their joker on one of the rounds to give them double points on that round. Churchill and Blakedown were clear leaders from the beginning and went on to win by 18 clear points with Kidderminster 2nd on 90.
