Access Gold

Access Gold is a scheme provided by Places for People Leisure in Partnership with Wyre Forest District Council, to provide support for the district's leading talented and elite sports performers. The winners of Access Gold have earned 1 years free membership at the Wyre Forest Leisure Centre.

Erin Boddice


Erin’s specialist sport is cycling and is a member of Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club. She was invited to ride for West Midlands in the RideLondon Grand Prix which is designed to showcase the cycling stars of the future. Other achievements included finishing 3rd in the West Midlands Youth League for the Under 16 girls and finishing 2nd in the MSW Sunday Series League.


Gracie Shore


Gracie is a dancer and one of her many achievements is representing England in dance.

Matthew Hatfield


Matthew plays for Kidderminster Victoria County. He has represented his country and district since the age of 10 years old as a top order batsman as well as bowling off spin. He has represented KVCC across all age groups. Matthew is currently the 4th leading run scorer at KVCC across all forms of cricket scoring over 600 runs for the season as well as being the top wicket taker at the club with 35 wickets.

Ryan Hughes


Ryan is a Rugby player for both Cleobury Mortimer Rugby Club and Hereford and Worcestershire County Squad.

Sam Annis


Sam is a well decorated freestyle skier for Stoke Freestyle Squad and competes at a national level.

Samuel Shaverin


Samuel currently plays cricket for Worcestershire County Cricket Club and previously played football for U12’s Kidderminster Lions Football Club and Worcestershire County U11’s.

Ed Fussi


Ed is a sprinter for Kidderminster and Stourport Athletic Club. Ed was the Hereford and Worcestershire 100m and 200m champion in 2013, he was also the District Trials 100m and 200m champion in 2013.

Darcie Hancocks


Darcie is the 2015 British National and National Kata champion. She has also achieved gold in the Midlands open, Scottish open and Welsh open.

Milly Jay


Milly is a swimmer and a footballer, she is part of the Wyre Forest Swimming Club and also Nunnery Wood Coyotes Girls. She participated in county championships for swimming from 2011-2014, and was a cup finalist winner in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
